The job of the chimney lining is to extend the life of the chimney structure. Installation and maintenance of chimney liners is a modern building code requirement. Some older chimney systems were built without proper lining/s. Just because you have a chimney, does not mean you have a chimney liner. A certified chimney sweep can inspect the inside of your masonry chimney with specialized video tools and assess if you do indeed have a liner and what the condition is in. If needed chimney relining should be done by a certified chimney professional.
Antrim’s Complete Chimney Service only uses industry proven methods and materials for restoring chimneys. If you need chimney relining and/or repair having a thorough inspection can help us determine what product options might be best for your chimney.
We often use:
- UL listed “stainless steel” products
- UL listed Guardian Chimney Liner® – one of the safest and effective relining systems which use the poured and solidified, “cast in place” technique. It is a high performance, an insulating system which completely restores your chimney structure and carries a lifetime guarantee.
- Fireguard flue repair – While some chimneys are “too far gone” and will require complete removal and replacement of damaged terracotta flue linings, others can often be repaired with the fireguard system for a fraction of the cost of a complete relining.
If your chimney is in need of lining or relining, we will do the job in a safe, neat, and timely manner for a fair price.
